Sunset in the Rain

London Skyline at sunset in the Rain

A quick capture with my Olympus OM-D of yesterday’s sunset in the rain. I was looking for the rainbow and eventually realised it was on the other side of the house!

Quick Taster at Salt Yard on Goodge Street

Finally, I get to try the flagship of the Salt Yard Group, Salt Yard on Goodge Street.

I was in the area checking out furniture (I feel another blog topic forming up) and hadn’t actually had any lunch, but was in between meals – so appropriately, some tapas was just the right food to have.

Hopeful Spring

I had a big shock walking out of the house last Sunday, the wind was warm not cold! Is spring really here? Well I decided to go out around my neighbourhood to find out. Though still windy the evidence that nature in London has decided that spring is here. So I decided that it was a good opportunity to test out my Olympus OM-D further. What’s Your Packing Style?

My question stems from my current status of travelling for a week’s skiing in Austria. In preparation I have been reminded of the different types of travel luggage that people have and how they pack them. Not just the main luggage but also in this case I would include anything that has the capability of storing things that you would like to bring when you travel.

Austrian Ski Resort Musts

Another foodie, this time just what I associate with going to an Austrian ski resort especially in the Vorarlberg region of Austria. I have a list of things I must do while here. Skiing the Weiße Ring – check(even with boot problems so I hope I can continue to ski tomorrow), eating a Wiener Schnitzel von kalb, a Kaiserschmarrn, and a Germknödel – three checks! This is day one, will fill you in as I go along.
